Nice to meet you!
Hello! My name is Mrs. Westbrook.
I graduated from Hilbert High School in 2004. I then attended UW-Green Bay and majored in Music with an emphasis in Voice and a minor in Education. I graduated with a Bachelor of Music degree in 2009. I am licenced to teach Choral and General Music to students in grades K-12.
My primary instrument is voice, but I also play piano, guitar, trumpet, and baritone. I do enjoy trying other instruments when the opportunity arises. I play and sing in my church's Praise Team, and I also sing and play with other groups or events when the opportunity presents itself.
I have two children who keep me very busy, and who my husband hopes will complete our own "Band" someday.
Besides singing and playing music, I enjoy bowling. My highest game ever was a 276 (which I bowled at our Catholic School's Week 2016 outing) and a 737 series. I also love being with family and friends, traveling to our cabin, playing fantasy football with my family, cooking and baking (yes, many from Pinterest), and gardening. When I find the time, I also enjoy scrapbooking. I have also found a new interest and enjoyment in running and balancing my time to take care of myself physically. I completed my first 5K in November 2016, and hope to run in many more!
I am looking forward to another year of making music with the students. My goal is to share my knowledge and love of music to the students. I also encourage students to use music as prayer and as ministry. I hope that students will continue to make music long after they leave St. Ignatius Catholic School.
