St. Ignatius offers two Choirs for students: 5/6 Choir and 7/8 Choir.  Both groups meet twice a week for 40 minute rehearsals.  The groups usually collaborate and perform together for the St. Ignatius Christmas Concert and for the Spring Band and Choir Concert.

 

Students will continue to work on building and enhancing their musical knowledge and skills through singing sacred and secular choral music.  Students will also focus on performance etiquette and will continue to work on getting comfortable singing in large and small groups in front of an audience. 

 

Students will also be ministers of music in weekly school Masses. Choir students will be taking a more active role in participating in School Liturgies by being in the Liturgy Choir, cantering for Mass, and singing special music during Liturgy. 

 

Students will share their talents and skills with the community during the St. Ignatius Christmas and Spring Concerts. If any other performance opportunities arise, information will be posted on this site and sent home, as well.
